Special guest demonstrator Joe Morgan-Paylor will demonstrate styling a black pine, as well as showing seasonal maintenance that is due. All welcome.

Thursday September 14th will be our AGM, with election of office bearers taking up the first few minutes of the meeting.

Thursday July 13th 2017 at 7.30 pm in the meeting room of the Lalor Library, 2a May Rd Lalor, Vic, Australia.

The June meeting will be held on Thursday the 8th of June, 2017, in the Lalor Library Meeting Room, May Rd, Lalor. (Victoria, Australia.)

This meeting will include a combination of critique of trees, and working on them. We encourage members to bring in their best tree, for advice on what it needs done to become “Show Ready”, and also their worst tree (we’ve all got one) for a discussion on what could improve it. This will be a fun meeting.

This meeting is a workshop, so bring your tree(s), tools and wire and work in good company with advice if you seek it. And we hope to have some autumn colour on the display table, if the weather allows it.

The smaller sizes of bonsai, known as shohin and mame, will be the topic of a presentation by Mark Ludlow in our April meeting.

The March meeting will be held on Thursday the 9th of March, 2017. First activity is a review of the lilly pilly trees, followed by a short critique session, then continuing with working on our trees.
